Last week we were anchored off Saint Pierre in the north of Martinique; today we are docked at the capital, Fort de France. We explored the city on foot. There is a lovely cathedral and, of course, an impressive fort guarding the bay. Very nice spice market not far from the port. Some interesting murals and artwork painted on some of the buildings. We particularly liked the bird and flying fish meeting for a brief moment in the air!
